Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, sorrel, oak, berry skin, dark sour berries, minerals, grass, mild vinegar. Taste is sour-ish dry, sorrel, soda powder, unripe berries, oak, grass, fruit stones, mild vinegar, citrus acid. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

Draught @ MBCC 2017. Pours deep reddish with a smooth head. Aroma of sourish blueberries, wood, oak, vinegar, tart notes and funky yeastiness. Taste is sourish and sweetish with some tartness, blueberries, oak, vinegar and wood. Finish is sourish and funky with some oak, vinegar, blueberries and tartness. Good.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Cloudy deep red-brown. Great aroma of funk, berries, wood. Sour flavor with berries, lemon, wood, funk, juicy. Medium-bodied. Great stuff.

(375ml bottle from Mikkeller and Friends Bottleshop, Copenhagen) Pours a very deep mahogany colour with a bit of a purple cast, and a small off white ring of head that is stable without lace. Aroma of blueberry pie, vanilla, oak, leather, light acetic acid plus some lactic lemony notes, a bit of sweet fruit and caramel for balance, red wine vinous quality, some other tart dark fruit (cherry or plum?), Brett funk that’s dry, earthy and lightly sweaty. Flavour is more sour than the nose, with a big lactic grip and a little aged vinegar. Flavours of very tart blueberry, underripe plum, lemon juice, oak, leather, tannic berry skins. Finish has some slightly creamy, buttery oak and vanilla, lingering lemon and unripe blueberry, still quite sour with a bit of dryness. No real funk in the flavour. Light to medium bodied, slick, soft carbonation. The sweeter nose helps this stand out from a lot of CS’s darker sours and provides layers. A bit more simple on the palate but nice overall.

Dark hazy to cloudy maroon purple color, tan head. Aroma has cherry, blueberry, vanilla, plum. Taste is softly sour blueberry and plum, tart finish. Very nice.

Bottle. A- Tart, sour, acidic, subtle berry. A- Purple red color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Tart, acidic, subtle blueberry. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish. O- Decent. Not a ton of blueberry which I wanted. The Raspberry Origins was hands down better.

Aroma is moderate to light heavy tart, berry, funky, leather, wood, berries, blueberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, sour, blueberry, wood, berries, dry, baking yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161018]
