12 oz bottle from the Spring variety pack. Aroma is pretty muted, but there’s faint honey, floral notes, grain, generic beer. Pours slightly hazy golden with a one finger white head with decent retention. Taste is much like a pale lager with a faint hint of honey sweetness. Forgettable. Second thoughts: this started to grow on me after a bit. The honey comes through more strongly after sitting about 10 minutes, making it go beyond the mostly pale lager it seemed to be at first. Also, a hoppy bitterness makes itself known in the finish. Much better than my first impressions.

Sample at the Seattle brewpub. Murky pale amber in color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, honey and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, sweet honey and a touch of hops. The finish is sweet with a short malt aftertaste. Average overall.

Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light malt aroma. Honey andmalt flavor. Medium bodied. Honey and malt linger with light earthiness.
