Keg at The Pony Bar, NYC. Pours clear, red-brown with a creamy, light beige head. Subtly roasty nose, some mellow cocoa and vanilla hints. Flavor is alright, though a bit bland. Light roasted malts, some toasty bread, some dark fruit like grapes or berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly bitter finish, mild earthiness, cocoa, faint grass. Some lingering bitter roast. An OK beer. Nothing too exciting.
