Bottle 500ml. [ As Struer Borgmesterbryg ].Clear medium to dark amber brown color with a average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, dark malt, smoke, wood, toasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, smoke, wood, plastic, acrid bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160822]

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a nutty, orangey brown with a very lively yet dissipating off-white skum. Massive peat in the nose, very brutal tar and iodine accenrs. Body is fairly light, no real malt base. Very ashy and chalky, and again a ton of peat with a discreetly tart edge. However, had I liked peat I’d probably call this the best of the 4 Struer øl so far. But I don’t. 300616
