Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and earth flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and earth linger with light pine.

From tap @ Carlsbad. Pours hazy orange, white head. Aroma is grapefruity, citrusy. Crisp hoppy. Juicy, grapefruity to peachy. Crisp fruity, juicy far finish.

Pale golden with a white head - Hop aroma with some citrus - Malt body to support a hop profile that has citrus and some herbal bitterness - The hop flavours goes into the finish with some bitterness - This was good

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Hazy orange with a small white head. Quite hoppy with citrus, some pineapple and light caramel. The body was medium and the finish medium bitter.

On tap at Pizza Port Bressi Ranch, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out likely dank hops, biscuity malt and some citrus. Flavour is quite dank in the hop department, with piney and herbal hops, and dry biscuity malt. Nicely balanced, with a bitter finish. Very good.

Tap at GABF. Pours an orange gold with medium off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is floral,.grapefruit, orange peel. Medium body, citrus, pine, nice light bitterness, very good.

Sample at Craft Tap House. Clear golden color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Citrus, piney hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, resiny hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

[ As Pizza Port Carlsbad Raceway IPA ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, cookie, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, tropical fruit, perfumed. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, fruity malt, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160512]

Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, spices, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet th notes of malt, caramel, spices, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.
