Draught. Brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, dried fruits, some sweet malts, and toffee. Flavour is toffee, some rye bread, toast and mild dried fruity tones too. Mild yeasty elements to it.

Bottle. Creamy white mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light sweet and bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

KØLF 210417. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, bread, fruit, malt, grass, apple. Flavor is caramel, bread, fruit, malt, grass, apple. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Flaske fra Rema 1000 Skagen, delt med Kitty på Skagen Danhostel: klar rødgylden med flott skum som varer. Rund, slank aroma og smak med røde bær, appelsin, høy, tørkede urter og karamell. Behagelig bitterhet med litt rugsyre i ettersmaken. Iflg bryggeriet er det anvendt 5 kornsorter (byggmalt, rugmalt, hvetemalt, speltmalt og havremalt) og 5 humletyper. Interessant men uten mersmak.

Bottle. Clear, deep golden body with a medium sized, dense tan head. Aroma has malt and green apple with caramel. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel and hint of metal, low bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Pretty average stuff.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden colored beer with a dense, lasting, finger-thick off-white head. Lightly fruity, lightly grainy, lightly grassy nose with hints of hay, bread and caramel. It’s medium to full-bodied, semi-sweet and with a pleasant carbonation. Grains, grass, hay, some pine cones and caramel and a bready touch in the flavor, with a wee bitterness in the back. It feels more bitter in the swallow, but in general I would prefer more bitterness all the way. Anyway, it’s a decent beer, sort of reminding of a Danish gulløl, but it’s not a beer I’ll repeat. 161228

Bottle. Pours clear reddish golden with small white head. Aroma is vague with notes of malt, bread, dough and chalk. Taste is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is light oily with medium carbonation. Finish is medium long and mostly bitter with notes that follow the nose.

[ As Skagen 5 Korns ].Unclear medium yellow - amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, candy, sugary, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160519]
