Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Humpty Dumpty Christmas Crackling ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, earthy, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141204]

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a thin but persistent white head. Aromas of peach and grapefruit. Taste is bitter, lots of fresh citrus peel. Oily texture, bitter finish. A nice surprise.
