Schon die alten Germanen waren berühmt für ihr Honigbier, welches – wie die Lahnsteiner Variante – obergärig und naturtrüb war.

Die Vergärung mit echtem, natürlichen Honig führt zu einem erfrischenden, goldenen Bier mit feinem Honiggeschmack, wohl ausbalanciert durch eine sanfte Bittere des Hopfens.
Süffig und erfrischend mit perligem Mundgefühl ein echter Genuss.

Gold with a thin, frothy, white head. Gentle, honey aroma. Taste is mildly tart, sweet. Body to the light side of medium, moderate to mild carbonation. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Feels like it’s beginning to go off despite a production date 2 months ago.

Flasche bei Brauerei. Trübes Orange. Kein Schaum. Aroma: Honig, Malz, Zitrus, Melone. Geschmack: etwas Malz, Karamell, etwas Honig. Leicht bitter.

Clear golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are packed full of honey sweetness. Quite warming and boozy.

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top. [ As Lahnsteiner Honigbier ].ABV: 10.7%. Clear light medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate mead - honey, mint, honey, light malty - pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, honey, mint. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. 330 ml bottle at Ulfborg. Clear pale yellow color with white to off white head. Malty aroma, sweet, grainy, light floral, alcoholic. Moderate sweet and light bitter taste. Light thin to oily body with soft carbonation.
