Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Malt-forward aroma with caramel, yeast, a little (red) fruitiness, toasted malt. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is thin to medium. Decent classic English style ale, malty with some surprises.

Takeaway bottle from Craft Theory Fest in Reading. A Burton Ale. Malt aroma with some herbal hints. Dark brown. Thin bubbly beige head. A medium bitter core but a wave of creamy sweetness rides over it. Malty but the dark sugar also makes it's presence known. The more I drink the more prominent the bitterness gets. Light-mesium bodied. Low fat cream with soft carbonation. Long finish. I like it. A smooth take on an oldschool UK beer.

Thuis uit een flesje. Bruine kleur, beige schuim dat snel verdwijnt. Zowel een zoetje als een bittertje. Geen verkeerd biertje, ook niet te zwaar in abv. Prima.

Bottle, gift from a friend. Dated 14/11/2017 BB 14/11/2018. Almost clear copper color, medium frothy head. Aroma of toasted and slight bready malt, slight dark fruit. Quite malty in taste, toasted. Strong malt focused stuff, I like it.
