Thuis uit een flesje. Goed donker bier met prima schuim. Een aardige porter, maar iets te veel suiker

Bottled 330ml (from Bierkoning, BB 05/2019) Opaque colour, tiny brownish head. Toasted, coffeish and ashy aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavour is similar: toasted malts, some coffee and ashyness. Basicly nothing wrong here, okish porter but with 7.7% could be more robust and perhaps a bit hoppier as it is American style porter. Maybe by age (7 months?) those fresh hops have gone.

33cl bottle. Thick creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. A lovely porter

Sampled at NSBF Den Bosch. Opaque black color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, roast, cocoa powder, malt bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice.

Gedronken tijdens Bierfestival in Den Bosch. Donkerbruin helder bier. Licht aroma van koffie. Smaak en nasmaak van koffie. Nasmaak heeft o ook iets pittigs

Geprobeerd met Inoven en Benzai op het Nederlands Speciaalbier festival in den Bosch. Het is een donkerbruin bier met. Het heeft een gebrande geur. De smaak is gebrand, koffie en mout.

Bottle at herten. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and caramel. Taste has licorice, chocolate, mild smoke, mocha and caramel. Nice one.

330ml bottle bought at Bierbaum De Pijp. A fawn-coloured head with fine retention covering coal black body. Spotty lacing. Grainy malts and mid sweet liquorice to the nose, promising. Grainy chocolate flavours joined by liquorice. Roasted, mid-sweet malty ending. Smooth in the mouth. Well made porter. (Shared with Leif, hotel room, Amsterdam 11.03.2018).

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 06-2019. Dark color, medium rocky head. Aroma of some roasted malts, bit dark chocolate, slight blackcurrant and pine. Smooth fruity bitterness, bit chocolatey sweetness, slight roasty. Good balance, good brew.
