Draught. Close to black colour with a mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy, toffeeish and mild wooden tones with some spices. Flavour is spruce, some pine, wood and rather herbal. Big time flavours. Smooth palate.

Draft. A black beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spruce needles, spices, and roasted malt. The flavor os sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and spruce, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Almost black colour! Moderate malty and heavy hoppy (herbal) aroma. Heavy bitter fantastic complex powerfull flavor. Dry woody, herbal. Long great heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. The beer works for me.

[ As Svaneke Chichilaki ].Dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, earthy fruit, pine - spruce - licorice. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, licorice - pine - spruce, earthy fruit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160519]

Tap@Svaneke Bryghus/Restaurant, Bornholm - pours black with a cream coloured small ringed head. Roasted and toasted malty, with some notes of coffee, caramel, slight nutty bite, subtle spice, pretty decent overall.

Draught at KØ16. Mild spicy aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Very small head. The flavour is sweetish and nicely spicy. Mild roasted finish. A friendly and well-rounded beer.
