Bottle from Scrattings. Clear gold pour with some white bubbles on top, looks well carbonated. Aroma of aged apple juice, dankness and wood. Taste of moderate tart apple juice, wood, hint of vanilla, quite bitter with mild astringency that fades after repeated sips. There is a nice sweetness through the middle that gives it some balance.

Keg @ Victoria Tap, Manchester. Pale extremely hazed golden cider. Its strength provides enough depth but its taste feels thin, and is very dry. Has a decent apple aroma, decent apple aftertaste, but not entirely a satisfactory one.

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from Scrattings. Drunk at home. Light to mid-golden, with a little bit of haze. Flat pour. Smell of raw cider Vinegar. Sour and enticing. Taste not so much so: dry and slightly appley with a bit of plastic on the finish. Strange that it is so watery at 6%. Drinkable but not a great cider at all.

Bottle from Middle Farm. It pours clear yellow - gold with a tiny, bubbly white head. The aroma is farmyard, dirty, damp leaves, rustic apple pie, apple skin and custard. The taste is bitter upfront, light tannins, mild astringency, spice, apple skin and farmyard with a pretty dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit to dry & bitter to make it overly drinkable, but enjoyable nonetheless.
