Bottled. Deep red colour with a small creamy pink head. Aroma is cherries, some nutty elements along with sweet wood. Favour is sweet malts, cherries, some other berries, wood and mild nutty tones. Quite sticky palate.

Bottle @ DØE tasting. Pours very dark red with a small offwhite head, light lacings. Aroma of malt, sweet and light sour cherries, wood, cherry stones, red wine. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, malt, cherries, cherry stones, light almond, wood, oak, red wine, little alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 280617

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, dark red with hardly any head. Lovely, intense aroma of tart cherries - and booze. Medium body, lowish carbonation, rather tart and tannic - flavorwise almost more like red win, a very dry one. Somewhat astringent finish, where tannins, tartness and hops collide - a bit much. A beer where the aroma promises more than the taste delivers. 280617

[ As Det Lille Bryggeri Barrell Aged Kriek ].Unclear dark purple - red color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, cherry, wood, wood - cherry stone. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, tart cherry, wood, cherry stone - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160520]
