There are things that cast great shadows. Maybe an oracle under veil, or the subjective truth that sought our ear. Whatever it be, it is now yours to decipher. And you shall carry these words onward. As always, made with Barley and Oats and fermented with West Coast yeast. This time we double dry-hopped with hand-selected Citra, Nelson and Simcoe. Expect a more tropical selection of mango jujubes, lychee sorbet, and tropical skittles.

2 month old pint can
A: Slightly hazy pale gold with a short, lasting white head.
S: Heavy on grapefruit and pith, light on pineapple. Wheaty notes.
T: Follows the nose closely but more pineapple than grapefruit. Only light bitterness and malts still more wheaty than oaty. Tastes hazy.
M: Light and smooth textured with soft carbonation and clean finish.
O: Expensive with nothing to distinguish it from a hundred hazies. Disappointing.

Phightens lose in extra innings to the D-Bags. Nice pale ale. Lot of flavor.

Waiting for game 7 between Jets/Blues.

This beer is a slightly hazy yellow-golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of floral hop, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Very much a modern American pale ale, in that it skirts the line between that style and being a Session IPA. Lots of bright hop notes here, with a citrus and tropical front that leads to minerals and a touch of pine on the back end. Utter lack of malt, though, which leaves me wishing it was a more well-rounded pint. Not bad, but won’t be replacing Zombie Dust or Dale’s in the rotation.

Nice grapefruit hops aroma on the nose. Some unripe pineapple. Murky yellow pour with decent head. Light hop tang in the finish and some bitterness. Tap at Rustico.
