500ml bottle from The Village Market. Cloudy, dark golden pour, fizzy head, fine ring. Tart, fruity aroma. Taste is sour, yeasty, pears, grassy. Tartness fades quickly on the palate. Fruity, sweet.

A lot of farmhouse and rustic notes, a bit of nice spices. Taste is along the same lines, a lot of nice farmhouse notes, smooth, full-bodied. Good one.

Slight haze, bubbly head. Lots of brett, dry, some vienna malt sweetness. Decent.

Re-rate: (Notes from Aug 26, 2022) Poured from the tap @ Alibi Room. Clear-ish golden amber with small white head. Oak, light funk, not bad. Enjoyable biere de garde. Aug 06, 2022 (7/3/7/3/15): Poured @ FHF 2022 (backlog notes from Aug 06). Hazy gold with white head. Mild oak and funk, decent, but not a stand out.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a clear copper amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma has a nice aged character, with plenty of oak and some pleasant copper notes. Flavour follows through with that old character: there's lots of oak, rustic farmhouse character, and light bugginess. Oaky, rustic and farmhouse-y. Very well-done bi�re de garde.
