Keg @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Golden-amber with a small head. Heavily spiced saison with ginger prevalent for me.

Bottle From Needle and Pin, Loughborough. Dark brownish gold, hazy. With a generous white head. Light yeasty note with herbal soap and white wine notes. Tastes is balanced without the yeasty hit you get from many saisons. No this one is far too refined... Dry finish with hints of rosemary in the aftertaste. A subtle concoction and a wonderful late summer saison.

Keg sample at the Waterloo tap. A light yellow straw coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma a is odd pithy grapefruit, hay, prickly citrus funk. Candied ginger on the nose. . Flavour is composed of semi sweet light grains ginger, woody ginger, hay, little citrus, grassy finish. Palate is semi sweet, soft airy carbonation, spicy finish. Less if a saison more of a shv.

Keg at Waterloo Tap, 20/06/17. Citrus and spices. Ginger? Hmmm... see prior review but I don’t like ginger. Gold. Thick creamy head. Bubbly. Low key: light sour, some sweetness. Medium boded. Slightly watery but with soft carbonation. Finish wise, it just kinda fades. Not sure if I am being driven insane by the blazing sun and this bloody suit but I am just getting ginger!

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Herbal aroma with bath salt touch, notes of rosemary, a touch of thyme and lavender, fruity hints of pear. Taste is minimally soapy, herbal, notes of rosemary, hints of thyme, sweet-ish malty basis, a fruity touch of pear, bitter hoppy.overtones. Strong herbal notes, still balanced, sadly minimally soapy. Good.
