Bottle. It’s an almost clear one, golden in color and with a finger-thick off-white head on top. The aroma is rather butterscotchy, with a piney, peachy fruityness in the back. Some minutes in the glass helps on the aroma, but it’s still too heavy on the diacetyl. There’s a nice bitterness in the mouth, both initially and in the end, with fruityness and pine cones. Caramel malts and bread. Medium to full body and nicely carbonated. Lasting fruity, bitter finish with too much diacetyl. Guess this one would’ve been nice if if wasn’t for the diacetyl. 160604

33cl bottle from Kjeller 5, Tromsø. Pours clear amber with a modest off-white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with citrus, tropical fruits and hints of pine and pale malt. Moderate sweet with mild, but nice fruity and hoppy flavours and a pleasant bitterness. A bit to thin and watery to be really enjoyable. Tasty and refreshing it is, but would like a little bit more body. Guess it’s sessionable, but I think I would get tired of it pretty fast.

Draught, small glass, sample tray, both days at Smak Nordnorsk matfestival, Hildr and Graff exhibition stand. Hazy dark golden body. Solid lacing from a stable white layer. Mid-dry fruity aroma, peaches and grass, added by a mid-sweet malty touch. Fruity taste of peach and pine together with a backdrop of mild coffee. Bittersweet endnotes. Soft in the mouth. Drinks well (Tromsø 18th and 19th September 2015).
