330 ml bottle. Jet black with a huge fluffy brown head, looks great! Rubber, leather, robusta, citrus, licorice, earthy, smoky, some vanilla. Dry roasty bitterness, some malty sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, dry roasty malty earthy finish. A very nice and easy drinking stout, very authentic, which is remarkable for a medium sized traditional German brewery!

Bottled. Deep brownish black colour with a mediumsized foamy off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some caramel, mild toffee and some slight coffee tones. Flavour is nutty, coffeeish, some caramel and mild ashy tones. Something between a dunkel and stout.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, mocha and coffee notes. Taste: Coffee, mocha, roasted malt. Very smooth almost creamy mouthfeel. Light hopbitterness. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Ok Stout but a bit monotonous and boring.

A poor effort at a stout, the easiest style to make. Thin body, not much flavour. Nothing overtly wrong, just a poor recipe. Bierbose Dresden

Black with quick fading head. It's a sweet stout with chocolatey notes. Finish is bittersweet.

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown, almost black colour with a beige and loose foamy head of medium size. Moderately roasted malty aroma with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla. Mildly sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly roasty malt character with notes of dark and milk chocolate, also hints of mocha and vanilla; almost medium-dry sweet-bitter and slightly roasted finish. Not overly exciting. 18.VIII.17
