Can to mug.
Appearance: glossy orange to copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: toasted nuts, clean caramel/toffee malts, light toast, super mild earthy character
Flavor: mildly sweet through the prior mentioned aromas, sly aftertaste of caramel/toffee malts and nuts
Texture: between light to medium bodied; sessionable, finishes nutty, clean and malty
Overall: good festbier I'd be willing to have again.

Canned 7/23/25, drunk 11/20/25 as pictured.
Very hoppy, fresh herbal nose with clean, crisp, aromatics and light yeast minerality. Light hints of caramel give it a robust feel, but it's mostly baguette-and-honey-like base malt.
Equally clean, crisp, light and dry in the mouth but with ample malt depth and fresh, playful, fruity hops. Great balance, crisp finish replete with yeast. A bit more bread and slight caramel than usual for the style, but doesn't seem to be a problem.

On tap at River Road Tavern with friends. Golden orange color with a frothy white head that persists. Rich bready crackery maltiness with earthy floral hops to counter. Nice Marzen

16 ounce can from Wegmans in Princeton. Amber orange pour. Frothy beige head. Mild toasted malt aroma has caramel notes. Flavor is more of the same. Toasted malt, caramel and some herbal hops. Clean and crisp. Brief nutty finish.

Pour deep, hazy gold into a stein. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Golden syrup and tart apple aromas. Soft with apple spice cake, straw and multigrain upfront turning to dried apple skin in the lasting finish.
