On cask at the White Cross in Lancaster. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - burnt toffee Taste - more toffee and a little orange but generally less fruit than I expected. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - I was expecting this to be a light fresh golden ale but it’s really a bitter.
