Superficial festival rating at DØE - Ølfestival København 2017. Slightly unclear amber body with a nice off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toast, wood, some vanilla and fruity hops. Flavor is quite sweet malt balancing with some fruity slightly farmhouse acidity, bread, caramel, wood, vanilla and coconut and balanced bitterness. Fine body and good aftertaste. Interesting and nice.

Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2017. Hazy amber colour with a big, off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel, dark dried fruits, herbal and barrel notes. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Finishes slightly dry with a rich fruitiness. A bit messy - otherwise nice.

Bottle 33 cl. 8.6% listed on my label. Pours a hazy, reddish amber with a lacing, off-white head. An initial caramel, and then a sophisticated barrel-aged note comes rushin’ in - with a slightly tart edge. Medium-bodied, feels lighter than the ABV suggests, caramel, nice wood and a fairly solid bitterness. Not too bad, with the barrel adding a spicy edge. 151216
