Dieses Imperial Forår wurde aus der Flasche (bbe 30.05.2025) im 2024-08 getrunken. Dieses rotbraune Ale mit seinem süßlichen Malz und Sauerteig Aromen und leicht bitter, hopfigen Abend erinnert es fast an ein Englisches Barley Wine. Ein handwerklich gut gemachtes Ale mit einem gut eingebundenen hohen Alkoholgehalt.

Bottled. Deep ambery red colour with a small mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, some toasted notes, mild alcohol, some nutty tones as well as some toffeeish sweetness. Flavour has some alcohol sweetness, toffee, mild biscuity, toasted and nutty notes along with a wee bit of strawberries in the finish. Quite delicate.

Bottle, 9.4%, as Imperial Forår Doppelbock. Pours hazy copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with estery notes and touches of hops. Bitter, hoppy onset, giving way to sweetish notes of caramel malt and touches of dried fruit. Bitter aftertaste with estery and malty notes. Warming alcohol presence. Decent.

Aroma: Dried sweet fruits with prunes and alcohol. Flavour: Fruity sweet with dark berries and prunes with brown sugar and fruity bitterness. Aftertaste is fruity sweet and mouthfeel is creamy and alcoholic warm. Colour: Orange with an offwhite head. From: Bottle @ VildMedVin webshop Apr. 2020.

Bottle thanks to Lukasmh! Pours hazy dark red with a medium offwhite head. Aromas of dark fruits, malts, yeasty, bready. Taste is malty sweet, dark fruits, raisins, grape sweetness, bready.

Bottle @ Mikkeller Odense, Ratebeer Get Together, Summer daze 2019. Pours amber copper with a creamy head. Alcohol, dried fruit, marzipan and grains. The alcohol is too dominant and prickly to be really enjoyable.

Cloudy amber, thick light beige head. Aroma has caramel and malt, fruity. Sweet flavour, caramel and malt plus bitter orange and floral bitterness with nice alcohol warmth. Alcohol gets clearer in both aroma and flavour as is warms up.

[ As Fanø¸ Imperial Forår ].Unclear - hazy medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat - yeast - over riped fruit, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, fruity hops, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity yeast, grass, flowers, wheat - yeast - over riped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale orange amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy caramel flavor with weak hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty spicy caramel finish.
