Keg at Piwpaw Beer Heaven, Warsaw, 06/04/17. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is chocolate, red berry fruits, light butter notes. Taste comprises red berries, light pastic, blackcurrants, cocoa rub, shades of black forest gateaux. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Run of the mill stout.

Barwa ciemnobrunatna, podchodząca pod czerń, piana beżowa, dość niska, niezbyt trwała. W aromacie czarna porzeczka i kwasek. W smaku wyraźna kwaskowość w stylu owoców leśnych, nieco słodkiej czekolady z owocami. Czarna porzeczka jednak dominuje. Wysycenie niskie, pomimo płatków owsianych piwo nie grzeszy gładkością zbytnio. Goryczka niska, ciało umiarkowane. Niezbalansowane, zbyt duża dominacja czarnej porzeczki, brakuje charakteru stoutowego.

Draft sample @ PiwPaw. Brune , col beige, voire blanc-cassé. Arôme au nez de fruits noirs, rétro malté avec de fines effluves aigrelettes de fruits. Palais est finement fruité, baies aigres, effet de prunes, myrtilles et mûres. Le tout reste assez épais avec un effet avoine. Moyen avec fini finemetn grillé.

Keg at Beer Heaven - Warsaw. Pours black-brown with a creamy khaki head. The nose has toasted brown bread, faint cocoa and roasted malts, vague berries. Light sweet flavour with ashy roast, moderate dryness, baking cocoa, burnt earth, dried berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish with further ashy roast, baking cocoa, more dried berries. So so overall.

Keg at pwipaw. An opaque black, dark brown coloured pour with a light tan head. Aroma is sweet diacetyl, brown sugars, socks, little jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of tangy jammy fruits, milky roast, tangy, brown bread,. Palate is tangy, medium bodied, highish carbonation.. Meh.

On tap. Dark brown color. Aroma: yeast, fruit, citrus, slightly sour. Taste: fruit acidity, a little apple vinegar, something wrong.

Draught @ PiwPaw - Beer Heaven, Foksal 16, Warszawa, Poland 00-372. [ As Bazyliszek Czarny Roman ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, light butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, dark malt, butterscotch, sweet malt, tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160204]

Keg at PiwPaw, Warsaw. Near black, small beige head. Fruity nose with some cocoa powder. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Metallic apple and cocoa powder. Low bitterness. Pretty bad.
