Cask @ Beerheadz. Inky black with a thick tan head. Toasted malt aroma, taste is similar with dried fruit and a hoppy finish

Black stout with a beige head. Rich, earthy malt aroma. Flavour is bitter chocolate, a dash of coffee, rich malt. Really very nice.

Cask, half pint, shared with Finn at Whalebone. Fawn-coloured head remaining over a deep dark coloured content with a ruby tint. Roasted malty nose, hints of coffee. Dark malty flavours of dark bread, liquorice and coffee. Ashy. Prolonged ending. Quite alright (Hull, 25.11.2015).

Fra cask på Whalebone Hull 25 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Tynn pen lacing. Forsiktig kaffearoma. Smaken diffus. Mye brent malt. Et lite kaffepreg over avslutninga.

Cask. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Clear, thick, cola brown. Thick, dense, tan head. Roast coffee grind. Savoury malts. Sweet vanilla. Decent body. Roast bitter. Big bitterness, in fact. Very drinkable. Very smooth.

Cask @ Closed Shop, Sheffield [110615]
Pitch black, thin tan head, good colour, some lacing
Aroma of soft dark sweet malts, some roasted malt, soft coffee grounds
Taste of roasty malts, soft dark sweet malts, some bitter roast, bit burnt, getting dark bitter chocolate
Palate - Medium thin body, bit sticky, gets more sweet with the drinking, didn’t find it full bodied. Finish dark bitter chocolate, roasted malts and a bit dry
Overall - Quite a decent stout
