Cask at The White Horse, Parsons Green, London. A very dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, malty, fruity, aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, slight chocolate, very sweet indeed. Not bad but quite hard work.

33cl Bottle at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. This is a RIS, not a BW. A sweet, caramel and chocolate, sour, soy-laden RIS. Not great.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2017. Pours dark brown, thinning white head. Vibrant malt aroma with a boozy sweetness and vinous berries. Palate-coating rich, oily body, quite complex with some chocolate, leather port and sherry notes making an appearance. Complex and interesting, but a bit rich for a mid-fest beer.
