Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: amber to copper with slight orangey hues along the sides and a finger's worth of white foamy head which trailed off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dried/dead lavender petals, vinous, biscuity and herbal to earthy tones
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to blend somewhat bitter with an underscore of floral to herbal sweetness; finishes semi-dry with a floral and herbal tone
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; medium to low amount of smoothness but nothing there to really stop this beer from being smooth either.
Overall: interesting beer, was this supposed to be a Scottish Gruit? Hmmm, I don't know enough.

Murky, dull, no head. Some heather, floral, sweet and bland, just light florals, malts aren't hitting at all...just lifeless.
