330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small to average, frothy, to macropore, off-white to beige head diminishing in a sizzling. Slightly chaotic, tart-ish, roasty, spicy, fruity, dark malty aroma, hints of soy sauce, balsamico, plum, cocoa. Taste is more harmonious, initially slightly sweet, roasty dark malty, hints of cocoa and cucumber, some treacle; later with increasing sweetness. Weird.

Buddel: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, medium-sized and pretty stable off-white head; sweetish caramelly nose with some subdued herbal hops and a certain fruity acidity, very faint traces of vanilla and wood; moderate sweetish flavour, medium bodied and a bit sticky and a bit fizzy; slightly lingering sweetish fruity and caramelly finish. Not my favourite...

Bottle@Taphouse Tuesday Bottle Share, Copenhagen - Dark brown pour with a mahooooosice tanned bubbly head. Medium roasty and sweet malty, with some cocoa, some notes of veg, kind of herbal notes going on, light ashy, goes sour on the palate, not getting this.

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown colour with a short and tanned frothy head. Dark malty, slightly wheaty aroma with notes of liquorice, espresso, dark berries, cassis and a whiff of bubblegum. Mildly bitter and slightly sour flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dark malt character with wheaty notes, sourish berry fruits, shades of liquorice and coffee; moderately dry and mildly bitter finish with notes of berries, leather, chocolate, coffee and a whiff of alcohol. Interesting. 06.II.16
