Lost Horizon is a double IPA featuring Centennial, Chinook, Simcoe, and Calypso hops. It’s definitely on the piney/citrusy/resinous end of the spectrum, quite different from our other hoppy offerings.

Draught@Brewdog Turku. (backlog). Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, grassy, some zest and mild bready and biscuity malts to it. Flavour is quite similar, with a nice and mellow bitterness to it. Smooth and hides the alcohol rather well.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 20 July 2016) Hazy golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple and a touch of alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, peaches, tropical fruit and a finish with a generous citric bitterness and a boozy, sugary sweetness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty with a generous hop presence, but the sweet and boozy character makes it a bit unbalanced. Quite nice.

Thanks to willisread for sharing the bottle! Poured into taster showing sparse white foam and golden honey tones. The nose shows pine and pine sap forwardness. The palate is richly pine forward. Well carbonated and light bodied. Surprisingly low bitterness on the finish. Very typical but solid IIPA.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2016 - big thanks to Craig. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Lots of floral hops in the nose, perfume, lemon peel. Medium sweet flavor with bready pale malts, rindy citrus, melon, tangerine, bitter pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Resinous finish, a little sugary, with some ripening citrus, orange, pine. Not bad.
