This pale ale is packed full of five different New World hops giving a complex mouth-feel and intense fruity flavours of oranges, peaches and blackcurrants with a spicy black pepper kick. A great aroma and a balanced level of bitterness make this a very drinkable beer indeed!

Cask at Exeter Arms, Derby Pours a greenish yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Not much of a nose, just vaguely lemon. In the mouth the texture is creamy and flavour dominated by summer fruits, but also hints of pepper, honey and peaches. The pepper comes to the fore in the finish. Note really my type of beer, but really nice.

Cask at CBC CG - London. Pours clear gold with a fluffy, white head. The nose holds some citrusy hops, lightly doughy pale bread. Light sweet flavour with more pale bread, light grassy bitterness, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced in the finish, with more citrus notes, biscuits, hay. Not bad.
