It is a pleasant and powerful IPA, copper body, average carbonation, malt, hop, some sugar and nice final touch in the mouth, a bit oily, 21.04.16, at Lausanne, Prélaz.

Draft at the Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Clear dark amber pour. Light head with a little lacing. As its name suggests, this beer is all about hops and they use a varied selection to produce a very rounded smooth flavour. There's no dry spicy bitterness in this beer. Even at 9% it doesn't taste like a strong beer. An excellent brew from Brewdog. One of many.

På tap melkebaren. God frisk duft av citrusfrukter og karamell. Dunkel mørk gulbrun farge. Dekkende kremet skum. Frisk god smak av citrus med en anelse karamell.

330 ml bottle sampled in 2008. Golden body with a decent off-white head. Hoppy aroma with peach, grapefruit and pine with caramel malt. Flavor is caramel malty with a dominating citric fruity bitterness. Straight forward tasty double IPA.

Bottle, originally from Brewdog online. It pours orange-amber, with a small white head. The nose is pine, resin, grapefruit, floral, alcohol and a touch of caramel/toffee. The taste is pine, resin, floral, citrus, toffee, butterscotch, obvious alcohol, with a long rough bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, medium carbonation and oily mouth-feel. I always found this one quite a bit rougher, too sweet and less balanced than its newer and (in my opinion) better "9.2%" version.

Hazy orange-amber color, modest head when forced. Aroma is rich, fruity and sweet. Sweetness arises both from some fruity bready malts, citric fruity hops, creating an overall impression of sweet tropical fruits (banana, mango) with some peppery hop. Flavor is mostly peppery hop, sweet and boozy, a little rough and raw, with a strong lingering lemon rind bitterness.
