Bottle 500ml. [ As Kinnegar Long Tongue Pumpkin Ginger Rye ].[ Courtesy of my Local Swap 2016-1 - Beersiveknown ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, rye, spicy, pumpkin - pumpkin spices, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long to average duration, spicy, caramel, ginger, pumpkin, rye, pumpkin spices. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160422]

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are pumpkin, malt, caramel, fruits and hops. Not good.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Some ginger notes. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and spicy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 220416

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Cloudy dark orange. Aroma of ginger, caramel, pumpkin. Sweetish flavor with caramel, ginger, spicy rye, a bit of pumpkin, bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle from the Garvie dregs-run. Pours dark brown with a thin head. Aromas of fresh ginger, clove. Taste is clove, sweet vegetables. Oily texture, clove-bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to the cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - dirty honey colour, kind of dark muddy amber. Decent head. Nose - get the ginger alright. Some pumpkin follows, in unison with some biscuit notes from the malts. Taste - more of the same really. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy and crunchy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - for this style of beer, I found this pretty balanced and enjoyable. The sweetness somewhat envelopes the ginger.

Taste of ginger, caramal, gingerbread, some citrus, slight vegetal note (maybe from pumpkins), quite intense spices, lots of flavour
Palate - soft carb, medium body, oily, quite a rich texture, fairly sweet. Finish as main flavour, sweet spicy, zesty hops, soft fruits
Overall - Wasn’t sure that I’d like this but it was good flavoured, interesting beer
