This cloudy-orange beer is the taste of liquid summer sunshine. Refreshing kumquat immerses the palate with citrus and tropical fruit, while biting hops interplay with bready malt. A touch of acidity from the kumquat zest finishes things off with a smile and wink. Whenever you find yourself yearning for those hazy summer days and warm electric nights, here you will find solace.

A refreshing summer IPA from Dieu du Ciel. The nose features a light fruity hoppiness. This medium body IPA is a classic, soft west coast IPA. Grapefruit and floral hops, a hint of mango, Kumquat? and sweet bready malt make this crisp and smooth IPA a winner.

On tap at Le Mondiale de la Bière 2014.
Pours a hazy orange, with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of tangy, upfront, almost skunky citrus, and fresh green hops. Carbonation was a tad on the high side, but the body wasnt affected. Finish was pithy, bitter citrus, with some tangy notes from the kumquat. Interesting stuff, but still very refreshing, and tasty.

Bottiglia.

Can, I think there's a December 2022 date, but not sure, drunk 2/3/23. Moderate haze. Deep bronze. Large, frothy, white head, good retention. Citrus alongside citrus hops with a hint of floral and bready and biscuity malts for balance. Good dryness, it seems, no resin or onion. Clean yeast. Soft, malty, lovely, dainty honey and soft floral citrus with just a bit of peel like acidity and juicy citrus from the hops with a hint of pine, yet zero resin. No onion, no weird yeast. Just clean, snappy, well-done all around. Extremely drinkable.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours an unclear dark orange to copper with a full finger of off-white foam. Muted citrus on the nose with light pith and fruit notes. Flavors a bit muddled on the palate as well. Balanced finish.

Bottle, 0.341l. Aroma of caramel, flowers, dandelion syrup and citrus. Pours cloudy pale amber color with thin creamy off-white head, nice lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly, tropical and stone fruity, following is bready, citrusy and medicinal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is grassy bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Sunny and a bit funny…
