Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, off-white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose. Medium body, very soft and smooth on the palate, a slight caramel sweetess and a nutty touch. Hardly any hops. Sooooo soft. A very well made Vienna - because that is what it is. 050121

clear golden, small offwhite head. very faint citrussy or sour dough like aroma, mostly bitter yeasty / malty / north european lager aroma. Not that bad, but i'm not sure i like the very faint flowery/citrussy note. resembles the note you might taste in a non-alc. beer. Flavor is mild / non-bitter european lager, some sweetness, some dough and bread, little bit of flowers, almost as if they have added some wheat malts. Now i have read the label. cocoa sugar and vanilla, i did not expect that.. but it does make sense, the two christmas ingredients probably the reason for the faint flowery sweetness. Not very traditional winter brew this one, but quite creative, i certanly haven't ever had a christmas pale lager with cocoa and vanilla. Coca and vanilla is tempered and not ruining anything, but it does taste a little odd. come to think of it, it reminds me a bit about cheap mexican beer like sol, etc.

Bottle@Jens - amber pour with a white head. Sweet fruity and malty with some notes of caramel and fudge, some toffee, light watery body, rather a jarring metallic taste though into the finish. Nope.
