Wild Turkey barrels are fantastic for the barrel aging of the Wheat Wine. This barrel aged has a full-bodied complex sweetness with a fresh sour finish. Expect flavors and aromas of sweet fruits, caramel, vanilla and oak.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 17.01.2027) im 2025-01 getrunken. Dieses rotbraun Ale kommt mit eine kurzweiligen beigen Schaumkrone daher. Statt typische Bourbon-Aromen durch die Fassreifung überrascht eine deutliche Säure von einem Sauerteig. Am Gaumen kommen malzige Aromen und Rote Früchte dazu. Spannend, aber irgendwie nicht 100% balanciert!

Bottle drunk on New Year’s Eve 2024. Reddish with a thin, frothy head. Aroma full of oak with whiskey and an indistinct fruitiness. Taste is mildly sour throughout. Finishes the same with lingering oak. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Surprisingly one dimensional. Ok.

330mL bottle, pours a dark amber, chestnut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is full of smoky bourbon character, some vanilla, and a touch of brown sugar. Flavour has plenty of vanilla, but it's rather muddled, with earthy notes, toasted caramel, and vanilla. Finishes smoky and earthy. Unusual, but works OK.

Light hazy copper colour, creamy white foam. Nose of dried fruit, raisins, some wine, vanilla, wood. Sweet and warming but a bit thin, some bitter notes with light tartness.
