On tap at the Bonte koe. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Nice enough. The glass looked nice but is almost too wide to pick up

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, white head. Sweetish, fruity aroma, notes of mirabelle and the like. Taste is dry, slightly yeasty, minimally fruity. Mediocre.

Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Golden coloured with a white head. Nose is malty, sugary, light spiced. Flavour is malty, sugary, bit of spices, bit of caramel and toffee. Sweet finish.

Bottle:Deep golden, hazy, smaller creamy off-white foamy layer, fruity-orangey nose with almonds and toasted malt; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; quite thin bitter-toasty finish with the usual touch of orange peel. Just O.K. …

33 cl. bottle @ ’t Antwaerps Bierhuyske poured into the quirky scotch-like Wilderen glass. Clear amber with a white head. Nose is sweet & candy-like with candy sugar, hay, touch floral & toffee, faint floral hops underneath the hops. Taste is sweetish, slightly metallic, candy sugar, sweet herbs, plenty of sugar, toffee, sweet brown sugar, light hops & candied fruits in the back. Touch lighter candy-like body. Okay & forgettable, sweeter, sugar-forward BE brew with slight off-notes.

Pale golden colour. A lot of white foam. Gusher. Sweet and malty aroma, some light bitterness in the finish. Too sweet and unbalanced.

Simple Belgian blond beer with a watery base. It’s sugary and slightly metallica, which is not very nice. Taste falls flat far too quickly, although than can be good, because it isn’t that great.

Bottle at The Rector. Deep orange-gold with a fine, thick head. Faint nose, grassy hops with simple bready malts. Light fruit flavor, orange, pear, dry, clean, and grassy. Light sweetness. Ok.

@ bierhuyske . pours blonde , good white head. smell is grainy and sweet, taste starts of as somewhat bitter, grainy, sweet malts, bit spices. its ok . due to the way to big surface of the glass , the carbonation goes out way to fast. guess they care more about attention than quality here ?
