With Velkopopovický Kozel Řezaný 11, the brewers have long sought the ideal ratio between Kozel 11 and Kozel Černý, and this has resulted in an extraordinary beer experience that combines the soft bitter taste of light beer and the caramel tones of black beer.

# 292; 4/2016. Velmi povedená kombinace světlého a tmavého ležáku.

Clear amber, tall and long-lasting white head. Aroma: grain, caramel, spicy hop, a touch of blood. Light to medium body. Taste: malty, well-rounded, not sweet, with a nice hop kick at finish. Solid ending.

Bottle, Albert Filadelfie. Amber body, clear, whiteish head. Mild, light, dry malty aroma. Mild, empty dry malty, vaguely caramelly taste with a touch of light but rough herbal bitterness, metallic touch in the finish. Boring as heck, probably the worst Kozel there is.

Bottled 500ml. -from Coop Česky Krumlov. Dark golden/pale amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, weak caramel nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light nutty and grainy with sweetish finish. Boring one.
