Bottle. Close to clear in the glass, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is mostly on the fruity side, with peaches, hints of banana, some passionfruity and a pleasant malty and spiced yeasty touch in the back. It’s medium to full-bodied, with an appropriate carbonation level. Some notes of alcohol warmth too. There’s a nice bitterness going on, and as for the aroma, it’s mostly fruity in the flavor. Tropical fruits and a touch of spices, with some bready malt notes. Long fruity, yeasty finish. A decent beer indeed, much better than many Belgian beers, but it fails to ring any of my bells. 161228

Bottle. Pours nearly clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of flowers and hops and touches of yeast. Bitter flavour of hops, with citric notes and touches of fruit, malt and yeast. Estery, bitter and mildly acidic aftertaste. Well-balanced and decent.

Fra fat på Banksia, København: lett uklar gylden med flott skum som varer. Deilig krydret aroma og smak slik jeg liker det. En belgisk pale ale. Lett uklar gylden med flott skum som varer. Meget lettdrikkelig. Må nok ha noe mer innen maten kommer.

Bottle. Pours clear honey with medium white head. Aroma is at first very much like weissbier, then more towards Belgian ale. Notes of grain, yeast, apples and fermenting fruit but also banana, cloves and chalk. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter and light acidic. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and again a nice mix of Belgian ale and weissbier with notes that follow the nose. Very well balanced.
