A deceptively easy drinking powerful ale with sweetness and fruit on the tongue. (also known as Little Dog!)

As Windermere Shih Tzu Faced. Rocky off white head on a slowly carbonating copper coloured body. Toffee, malt & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, soft & creamy with a lightly carbonated back. Malt, toffee & raisin tastes with a big tangy fruity finish. Good one.

29th July 2019; Monthly Beer Share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. 500ml bottle as Windermere Shih Tzu Faced; BBE Oct 2019, brought by my good self. Amber, thin white topping, Malty and fairly sweet with an aroma that gave off 'that aged, dusty smell' you find in cellars, tasted fine though and hides it's alcohol well, I liked it.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie July 19, courtesy of hackbladdock. Pours misty amber, off white sheet atop. Aroma has light cobwebs, overall character presents sweet caramel, a touch musty but not overly so, distant fruity glimpses, biscuity malt.. drinks quite light for the ABV. Fine.

Bottle from the Watermill Inn. Appearance - deep amber red with a quickly disappearing head. Nose - stewed apple and light toffee. Taste - honey, more stewed apple and a dry biscuit note at the back. Palate - medium bodied and clingy in texture. Sweet but tangy on the finish. Overall - decent.

Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2016. Amber coloured. A steady sweetness hides its strength - quite a tasty one too.

Cask at the brewpub. Fucking terrible beer name. Aroma is sweet toffee caramel, dried fruit, light berry fruit. Batley wine, flavour is composed of harsh solvent alcohol, caramel, old ale. Grassy hop really harsh. Palate is medium sweet, lowish carbonation. Bit of fruit cake. Meg. Hot ferment. Stressed yeast.
