500ml bottle [courtesy of David - thank you very much!]. Cloudy, redd-ish chestnut colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Tart-ish, tangy, fruity, as well as caramel and slightly chocolately, malty aroma, notes of caramel, toffee, morello, bramble, black currant, blue grapes, some dried fruit, raisin, a touch of plum, whiffs of oak and coffee. Taste is mildly tart, minimally sweet chocolately and caramel malty, fruity, slightly vinous, notes of morello, black currant, bramble, hints of blue grapes, a touch of plum, subtle hints of milk chocolate, toffee, coffee, a cautious, dry, oaky touch. Slightly watery and thin, acidic texture, slightly astringent and minimally dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Quite rich and complex, well balanced - good!

On tap in gibsonia SR. Odd aroma, farmy old wet hay. Taste is lovely fun bubbly tart stuff, yummy! Well made civilized wild brew. Yes, quite yummy. Takes the rodenbach and goes a step further. Gets a little volatile in the end but it never gets in yer face. Yes, an overall very good beer tasting experience.
