Had this back in 2016 as a tap @ Brixton. Back then they called it Draai Laag Haviken. Brewer says its the exact same recipe. Slight dull tart aroma. Nice lacing on this one. Orange brown and clear. Lighter flavor, hides his alky well. Fun loving, just a hint of hops. Very nice finish. Fruity and mildly tart. Very good overall beer tasting experience. It ROCKS. Really good old ale, yum.
120617. Accurate to the description. tart cherry, porterish notes. Nicely smokey nose, dark chocolate cherry throughout.

This beer poured a red-brown color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet, sugar, plum and red wine. The flavor was tart, sour, a touch vinegary, soy sauce, plum and red wine. Long sour vinegar and plum finish. Medium body.

Pours a rich brown from a bottle. Aroma is cherry, coffee, fruit vinegar. Similar flavor, doesn't really match a dubbel. Good beer though.

16.9 oz bottle. Aroma is lemon, lacto, raisin. Pours dark brown with a quickly collapsing beige crackly head. Taste is highly sour (9/10) and acidic, with some roastiness in the background. Flavors of lemon, raisin, chocolate-covered cherries, dark bread, caramel. Highly carbonated. It may have started out as a dubbel, but it's definitely more of a sour/wild ale.
