Canned 11/15/24, drunk 6/18/25.
Unfiltered haze in a rose-hibiscus body. Small, pinkish-yellow-tinged head fades steadily to ring.
Smells lovely, with wonderfully-expressive, authentic fruit. Dry and fruity with no big acid and a fair bit of brett and pretty well-aged, mellowed lacto. Rustic grains behind it support.
Tart and fruity with no big acid, or importantly, no acetic acid. Lovely house culture, with mildly juicy, expressive fruits. Excellent malt texture and attenuation without getting too dry.
Yup, I suspected these guys were awesome and even though this is only my first beer, I'm very impressed and will be buying more.

Slender 12oz can from Appalachian. Duvel glass @home. Peachy-plum, hazy, sticky pour. Sour peach-raspberry, lemon, earthy nose. Twangy lemon raspberry, with a bit of cherry skin. Earthy, wheaty, uniform texture, light foeder, mild herbal hops. Stays crispy, more acidic, cleaner & easier to drink than expected. Just about lovely. Missing complexity to make it amazing.

12 oz can poured, picked up at Special Brews. Pale pinkish grapefruit juice like appearance. Patchy, thin fizz. Sharp tart front. Has a dry constant, with soft berry character lingering. Quiet aroma of jammy berry and soft funk. Lighter feel to this saison, with a bit of a watered finish, but really interesting and intriguing raspberry taste. Sourness 5/10. Refreshing over tart. Very nice.

Re-rate: poured from the tap (guessing this is batch 2). Cloudy salmon pink with small white head. Floral notes with underlying berries. Nice aroma, thinner body. Decent. Oct 21, 2022 (7/4/7/3/13=3.4): Poured from 355mL can from The Gull. Clear salmon orange with small white head. Slightly rustic saison yeast, mild underlying berry character, all very subtle, verging on muted. Decent.
