Bottle split at Bespin, thanks to Kenny Bob, 19/09/16. Mahogany brown with a moderate beige cap. Nose is grassy hops, earthy, pine needle, straw, bitter tropicana, grapefruit. Taste comprises leafy hops, pine, caramel, straw, bitter trops, grapefruit, light charring. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with very small off-white head. Clear aroma of roast, coffee, malt and hops, with estery notes. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with pronounced notes of coffee and malty and citric touches. Bitter aftertaste with notes of roast and yeast. Low carbonation. Quite reasonable.

Draught @ Chmielarnia Marszalkowska, ul. Marszalkowska 10/16, Warszawa, Poland 00-590. [ As Birbant DR IPA ].Unclear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, fruity, light licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160206]

Ciemnobrązowa barwa, piana oblepiająca szkło. Aromat cytrusowo-ziołowy, po chwili wyczuwalne nuty ciemnych słodów. W smaku bardzo dobry balans pomiędzy ziołową goryczką i ciemnymi słodami. Żyto nadaje temu piwu bardzo dużej pijalności. Nasycenie na niskim poziomie.

Keg at Chmielarna Marszałkowska, Warsaw. Black, small beige head. Piney citrus and licorice up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Asphalt, chocolate and citrus. Soothingly creamy with growing bitter finish. Nice!

Tap (4Hops, Wroclaw). Barwa ciemno brunatna, rubinowa pod swiatlo, bezowa piana, srednio obfita ale calkiem trwala i swietnie zdobiaca scianki szkla. Aromat dosc intensywny z nutami cytrusowymi na pierwszym planie i prazonego ziarna w tle. Podobnie w smaku gdzie cytrusowa goryczka, srednia do wysokiej, gra pierwsze skrzypce a palonosc (prazonosc) pojawia sie w posmaku, przyjemnie zalegajac i drazniac podobnie. Bardzo fajna czarna ipa, gladka w smaku, o ciut gestszej, kisielowej konsystencji, z wyraznym cytrusowym akcentem.
