The Miner - ciemne jak węgiel Black IPA, pełne doznań pochodzących od słodów i chmieli. Zapach zdominowany przez grejpfruty, cytryny i żywiczną woń, ciemny kolor piwa zdradza jedynie muśnięciem prażonego słonecznika. W smaku bliskie klasycznemu, konkretnie nachmielonemu na goryczkę IPA, przełamanemu słodowymi niuansami.

Bottle at home. Pours black with beige head. It shows the usual black IPA with no pronounced hop profile characteristics. Dark chocolate, cocoa powder, some bitterness. Pleasant, but nothing extraordinary really.

Rated at Unknown venue. Lt. Sweet, smooth and slightly roasty with some malts, earthiness, cocoa and coffee, hints of fruits and citrus. Soft and easy going.

Can, Piwne Mosty. Almost perfectly black, smaller beige head, but ok lasting. Nice nose, some fruity notes, mostly berries with some roastienss in the back, slight chocolate, more noticeable later on. Quite strong bitterness, very dry and somewhat herbal and sharp. A bit too sharp. Lasting herbal aftertaste. Lighter body. Nice aroma, but way too sharp in the taste.

Can from Deconinck. Hazy black, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of pink grapefruit, old mango, pineapple, toast, walnut, tobacco, ground coffee. Taste has sweetish pineapple, mango & prune in a toasty malt body, bit earthy-nutty with bitter coffee powder accent. Resinous hoppy finish, very bitter, grapefruity and toasty. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Excellent.

500ml can. From Piwne Mosty.pl. Poured near black in color with an off white head. Pleasant roastedness in aroma. Flavorful with resiny hops, bitterness and mild roastedness. Nice BIPA.

26/IV/20 - 50cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 20/I/21 (2020-378)
Clear dark brown to black beer, big dense creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, very roasted, lots of coffee and charcoal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roasted start, dark chocolate up front, flowed by more roasted flavours, pretty hoppy and bitter, some burned caramel. Aftertaste: more roast, very bitter and hoppy, dry, ashes, charcoal, very burned, nice one, but a bit too harsh on the roast.
