A Belgian WitBier, the Westview Wheat is spicy and citrousy with a golden-orange effervescence. It is hazy by design as this style of beer is typically unfiltered, the yeast adds a layer of body to this otherwise light and easy sipper.
When pairing this beer with foods it is easy to play on its citrousy character. Salad with vinaigrette, Grilled fish with lemon and parsley or a Charcuterie platter of: cheeses, meats, olives and pickled onions.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy deep blond color. Aroma of vegetables and paper. Dry mouthfeel, flavor of paper, vegetables, light coriander, and the bitterness has chicory tones.
Not good.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is pretty weak, with notes of wheat and cereal malts. Flavour is very bland, with stale biscuity malts, wheat, and almost an old banana character. Something is wrong here - tastes very stale. Not even very refreshing. A miss.
