Strong beer of the upper fermentation. Complex composition causes a lot of flavors, high bitterness and tropical aromas. Dense, heavy beer for those who enjoy a strong sensation.

# 4180; 4/2024. Caramel and vague herbal and zesty aroma. Hazy amber body; persistent beige head. Caramel, herbal, resiny, zesty. Strange, old school IPA. 0,5 l, bottle, gift (thx Ljuba and Natalia).

Bottle from Schronisko PTTK Jagodna in Bystrzyckie Mountain. No Rebelia sie zbuntowala i pokazali co to dobrze nachmielic piwo.

500ml bottle [as Frankenstein 2.0]. Cloudy, dark amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish caramel malty and slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of instant lemon tea, a touch of lemongrass. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, cautious citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, instant lemon tea. Extremely malt dominated, and hop; If this was the 80 IBUs etalon, I’d vote for - let’s say - 400 IBUs as lower limit for an IPA.

Very hazy deep amber beer, palish cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, good minerally carbonation. Thin malts. An odd molasses flavour. Some orange hop, mostly ripe orange. Marmalade. Very mild hop spice. Light finish. Malt dominated and skewed malt at that.

Rebelia Frankenstein 2.0. Thanks Silvija! So... guessing that they kinda f**ed up the first batch or something so they wanted people to know this is different by adding the 2.0. This is actually a pretty fine beer now. Reddish brown/amber body with a tiny off white head. Light, soft malty aroma with a citric, fruity aroma, with notes of apricot. Similar orange/peach herbal notes in the taste, soft, well balanced, light notes of alcohol, herbal bitter notes in the finish, unappealing though. Hooh... so, not exactly the world’s best IPA, but a solid beer nonetheless in this incarnation.

Bottled at Beczka, Warsaw. Cludy copper colour, small head. Buttery caramel aroma. Sweet with medium-full bdy and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Sticky caramel and butterscotch. Some resin in the finish, but really monstruously caramelly.

Butelka 0.5l (06.04.2016). Piwo o ciemno bursztynowej barwie, lekko zmetnione.
