On cask at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is of German malts, bready cereal notes and dusty saw wood. Flavour brings out lots of dry dusty cereal notes, crusty bread and saw dust. Smooth and refreshing, but somewhat harsh. Decent.

Tap at Breakside, PDX, 25/05/13. Listed as 5.3% ABV. Lightly hazed copper with a thin light beige head. Nose is light toffee, malts, sugars, a little subdued. Taste carries more depth, good caramel malt bite, light hops, sugars, pinch of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness int he finish. Ok alt.
