Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark color, brown with mahogany shades, with creamy head. Although it has some acetone notes, still it’s a very solid beer, with a malt backbone, and a woody, almost astringent touch; strong alcohol perception; there is also some dark caramel, dark fruits.
Interesting concoction. Deserves a good spot among American sour beers.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out booze, dark sour fruits, and a touch of vinegar. Flavour is bold and complex, with tart dark fruits, light vinegar, and warming alcohol. Very boozy, but not undrinkable in any way -- rather quite dangerous. Actually quite a bit more complex than the regular Flanders Red. Great stuff.
