Hazy deep blond color with small head. Nice aroma of tropical fruit and some citrus fruit (cedar peel, hint of yuzu). The body is lean, the mouthfeel is quite dry; the malt profile is delicate, it has a moderate character from the spicy "wheat" beer, and strong hopping, with also an impression of the lemon cake given usually by Sorachi Ace.
Easy to drink and yet packed with flavor. Balanced. Very nice, and right for the summer; it would work well with food too.

Light tan, slight haze. Bright, fresh nose with tropical fruit hoppiness. On the palate, mangoes, grapefruit, pineapple, mild pale malts. Richly hopped, good body and very moreish. Top stuff...maybe just a little more doughy malt in the finish than I’d like but that’s quibbling.

473mL growler, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of floral hops and tangy hops. Flavour is about the same, with a floral, piney hop base, with just enough tangy malt. Great rendition of the series. Very good stuff.
