Amber red colour with a persistent head, delicate hints of caramel and green plants. Full malty body in harmony with the noble bitterness of the Radicchio. Lightly carbonated, soft grassy aftertaste.

Bottle kindly shared by fajry, many thanks. Amber color with thick white head. Caramel, cherries in aroma. Taste, caramel, bee wax, harsh bitterness in finish. Not very tasty.

Keg at Birreria Heritage Artigianale, Warsaw, Poland. Clear amber, small head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly, some grass. Mid bitter finish. Sweet and neutral. Doesn’t lift.

Bottiglia @ Simei 2015, Milano.

Bottle, 0.50l, shared with ElDesmadre. Hazy amber orange color with small creamy off-white head and fair lacing. Aroma of caramel, dandelion syrup, floral hops and vegetables. Taste starts with sweet caramel malt, follows by vegetably and grainy sourness, obviously with chicory feeling, plain mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. The only thing that bothers me is that it mellows quickly after first few sips, otherwise still very quaffable...

50 cl bottle, contains red chicory. Dark amber to light brown color, unclear, big white head, strange cripspy nose. Aroma as dark malts, vegetals, herbs, hints of caramel and spice. Taste balanced, chicory bitterness in the finish. Short dry finish, medium bodied, carbonated.

This beer is produced with Radicchio di Treviso, one of the most celebrated varieties of salad. It has a red color and a bitter taste. It belongs to the chicory family.

Hazy amber color; big creamy head. Nice malt aroma and very nice hop, with a hint of dark honey. Medium body, with a mild toffee flavor, sweetish, but without a bite. It has a balanced bitterness, difficult to tell if there is any Radicchio, maybe just something in the very late aftertaste. Quite good.
