Older bottle (from the 2012 harvest) marked as Batch 3/3. Clear golden hue with minimal head formation. Aromas are of tart and tannic apples, relatively sweet, light sulfur. Flavors are tannin forward and relatively acidic. Medium residual sweetness is balanced by the high acid. Body is a bit lacking, medium to medium low carbonation. Refreshing balance, but lacks a bit on complexity.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse funk and dry apples. Flavour is very funky, with farmhouse notes, medium funk and dry apples. Very complex, with a lovely dryness. Excellent stuff.

Bottle at winery, vintage 2013
Cloudy blond color. Fresh and very fruity aroma, a bit of apple pie. Good body, fruity, lemony, a bit astringent.
